Founder of PPIM

Taanusiya Chetty, Miss World Malaysia 2024/25

Taanusiya Chetty is an educator, youth advocate, and the Founder of Be.The.Change Malaysia. With a Bachelor of Education in TESL and fluency in four languages — English, Bahasa Malaysia, Tamil, and Mandarin — she is deeply committed to inclusive education and emotional empowerment for children.

Her journey into advocacy began long before the spotlight. Shaped by personal resilience and life-changing experiences at a young age, she chose to transform adversity into purpose — dedicating her voice and platform to uplifting underserved communities.

In 2022, she founded Be.The.Change Malaysia as a grassroots initiative focused on mentoring, educating, and empowering vulnerable children. What began as small outreach efforts has since grown into a structured and registered NGO, officially recognized under ROS as Pertubuhan Suara Perubahan Insan Murni (PPIM).

As Miss World Malaysia 2024/25, she continues to advocate for education, inclusion, and emotional well-being through community projects aligned with the global “Beauty With A Purpose” movement.

Her journey reflects a simple belief:

No child should ever be left behind.

Building ChangeS That Lasts

Be.The.Change Malaysia is more than an initiative — it is a commitment to ensuring every child has access to education, dignity, and opportunity.

Through structured programs and sustainable partnerships, we continue working toward a future where compassion leads and communities thrive.
